Selective Social Distancing

Continuing to practice social distancing after the pandemic ends towards jerks, people who smell bad and in general, anybody you don’t want in your life
After I had coffee with him few times, I decided to practice selective social distancing from him because he wanted me to meet his parents

Selective mutism

A "rare" anxiety disorder that typically starts in childhood. It's main trait is being mute in public. But this trait can extend to nonverbal communication as well. Basically social anxiety on drugs.
Child: *has selective mutism*
Parents: Our kid is rude for not talking in public so instead of taking them to therapy let's leave them like this and continue to be upset at them because it must be a choice cause children LOVE not having friends! Lol!

Selective Sinning

When someone who’s usually a Christian, only abides by some rules in the bible that they deem morally wrong. Like gays go to hell, but they still get drunk or watch porn.
Someone: Why is Barb getting a divorce does she know it’s against the Bible?

Me: Oh she’s just Selective Sinning.

dorito selection

Scanning the depths of an open bag of Doritos in search for prey. Instead of the old or infirm, the hunter is after the Dorito weighted down with the most cheese.
Wife: Chet, the bag says that these Doritos are 20%

cheesier. I poured myself a bowl and I haven't

found a single one laden with what I would call

more cheese.

Hubby: Sorry Hun. I already got all the good ones. It's a

bad habit I learned as a freshman in college. You

had to use Dorito Selection in order to make sure

that you weren't short-changed while sharing a bag

with your roommates.

Selective Text Responding

When one of the participants in a texting conversation intentionally ignores certain questions or texts because of their lack of desire to answer the question or get involved in a conversation.
"Stop selective text responding and answer my question -- do you want to go with me to my friend Marisa's surprise mini golf birthday party?"
