a ruella-maria is a totally unique person who has had some very unusual experiences and some very odd habits which generally include irrational fears such as butterflies and shaking hands combined with a tendancy to rebel by becoming catholic and the ability to see indians at the window.

Someone named Ruella is smart, kind, loving, usually shy the first time you meet her, but once she finally gets comfortable with being around you, you’ll be begging her to be quiet. She’s fun to be around. Ruella is a wonderful person, and very beautiful.
