Profederacy

Profederacy (n.): A system of governance in which multiple states or territories unite under a strong central government, not out of obligation or compromise, but out of shared enthusiasm, mutual trust, and common purpose.

Today I learned about the difference of a confederacy and profederacy! A confederacy is a loose type of country with most states retaining their independence, but mainly under one country. A profederacy is multiple territories or states enthusiastically wanting to be in a union with a strong central government!
