psychodiversity

Psychodiversity is a measure of the total diversity of thought within a system. This diversity can be found in different religions, political perspectives, sexual orientations, intelligence levels, philosophies, diets etc.

High psychodiversity can be thought of as beneficial in a similar way that biodiversity is understood to be be so. Different views and perspectives allow for a greater chance that humanity will be able to successfully navigate through a crises or even day to day living. High psychodiversity makes a system more robust and likely to adapt to a changing environment successfully. In addition high psychodiversity makes for a more interesting environment. Flexible participants with diverse views are able to interact in novel ways allowing for unpredictable emergent activity. Psychodiversity is fuel for evolution.

Just as is the case with countries, companies and organizations that foster a healthy amount of psychodiversity are able to more successfully handle economic downturns and thrive.

A psychologist turned developer. They are believed to be the ones giving birth to Skynet, ultimately causing to the defeat of Humans against the machines leading to the creation of the Terminator.

psychologer

Rather than a psychologist or psychiatrist, a psychologer has no formal training but derives his or her theories and practises from New Age -principles; by using any source available to understand the human mind. The word combines the words astrologer and psychology, bringing it toward spiritual and intuitive knowledge over scientific approach to understanding the human mind. As he or she comes from the New Age background, they acknowledge the (possible) existence of the immortal soul that reincarnates. They are a psychologist of the soul rather than a psychologist of the mortal person. A psychologer is someone who works toward creating new theories and practises to help people solve their psychological problems; a step up from "a life coach" who uses every day knowledge and certain common New Age practises for the same thing. A psychologer has their own studies and theories, where as a life coach most likely does not; therefore, a rare individual.

Earlier, the word was used for a psychologist, one of the early forms for a psychologist, and the term refers to the exact idea; early onset psychology; non-proven science, and ground breaking, officially non-approved practises in the field of psychology.

The acceptance or ideally embracing of people of many different or unique personalities, beliefs or mental states of being.

We should live in a culture which accepts all different types of people and their quirks. If we are to be a truly psychodiverse society, don't cross the street away from the man with the shirt on backwards singing stairway to heaven backwards, please. Psychodiversity man!
