A french word, "pouliche", can be translate for "female foal". It also evoque the unicorn

In an urban context, it refers to a naive young girl who can be ride or who deserve to be ride. A pouliche is a sexy teen: Her room is usually painted in pink, full of Johnny Depp posters. She still believes in Prince Charming and one of her dream is to own a poney...

But the pouliche is hard to get. She's still close to her mother and if not, she's probably within a large pouliche herd, which is part of a protection strategy against cowboys.
