Pipophobia

The fear of becoming a subject of a presidential Twitter post. For politicians, especially members of the president’s party serving in the United States Senate, the fear is existential.
From pipo which means tweet in Latin and the common root, phobia, meaning fear.
Senate Republicans were unjustly thought of as craven lackeys when, if fact, they suffered from acute pipophobia, a condition rendering them small shells of their former selves and too pitiable to be held accountable.

Philophobia

people become petrified of falling in love.
Although butterflies in the stomach are often associated with love, for someone with philophobia those butterflies are more like deadly scorpions, as they are petrified of falling in love. Unfortunately many people in this category end up living a life of solitude and fear of commitment.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
