A small town, known locally as a village, in North East Derbyshire.

Nestled at junctin 28 of the M1, Pinxton has way too many warehouses and small factories, with an unusually high number of lorries and white vans careering along its roads.

Locals are tribal in nature, as is common in locations with a large ex-coal mining community. Many of its members being inter-related, outsiders are not welcome.

A high proportion of chavs reside in the social housing estate, surrounded by private housing where chavs have managed to marry in an advantageous upwardly mobile manner.

Pinxton is regarded outside of the town as a undesirable place to live, where jokes are made about in-breeding and the lack of wheels left on cars if parked overnight
She really let herself down, married some bloke from Pinxton

Pinxton is white van land!

The best thing to come out of Pinxton is the B6109

Don't park overnight in Pinxton mate, they'll nick your wheels and then come back for the bricks

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
