Perpetuing

(pur-PEH-choo-ing) (verb; spiritual, eternal, Kingdom-based)

The perpetual state of living in communion with God through Jesus the Messiah—receiving His love, remaining in His presence, flowing in His Spirit, resting in His peace, and walking in His truth.

It is a lifestyle elevated above earthly striving—a sacred rhythm. A seamless union of receiving and releasing, resting and rising, healing and ministering. It is God's Spirit-led undertakings, and Spirit-filled availability; not earthly-defined deeds, or self-powered spirituality. Living beyond the fray.

It is a constant state of carrying eternity in one’s perspective, living beyond the fray from within Heaven, not merely toward it. Being a conduit through which Heaven enters earth. Anchored in truth (John 14:6), rooted in love (John 13:34-35), remaining in Jesus (John 15), praying always (1 Thessalonians 5:17), soaring in trust (Isaiah 40:31), established in peace (Isaiah 26:3), obeying Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20), belonging to God's family and Kingdom (Ephesians 2:17), engaging with God (James 4:8).

Expanded Definition:
Perpetuing is the lifestyle of one who chooses to abide without ceasing, trust without doubting, love without limit, and live without spiritual interruption. It is rooted in the belief that we are not just called to momentary obedience but to perpetual communion — where every breath is a prayer, every response is surrendered, and every season is seen through the light of eternity.
I am perpetuing today, walking in peace and purpose beyond what the world sees.
Her life is a testimony of perpetuing, a continual flow of God’s presence and power.
I’m not just surviving, I’m perpetuing.
She lives a life of perpetuing; steady, surrendered, and Spirit-filled.

A phrase used to describe the blind beliefs of any institution or state where someone is told to believe something without evidence or reason and where that ignorance is then passed on to others (because they believe the lies they have been told) and becomes self-perpetuating.
'Nationalism is a form of self-perpetuating ignorance where we are taught to hate the 'other' or outside group.'

'No you cannot convert me to your religion, I have no desire to be a part of your cult's self-perpetuating ignorance.'

Lawyer Larry: Uh no that's totally rule against perpetuities to me

Lawyer Lenny: Hey I heard you screwed up and are now being sued for malpractice
Lawyer Leslie: No I only screwed up the rule against perpetuities so they can't sue me

Perpetuniaty

Forever: archaic; as it relates to petunias The length of time (forever) that you must spend watering, fertilizing, and grooming petunias in order for them to look nice every day. b. In Perpetuniaty.
Her petunias are positively singular! I see her out my window spending hours every days watering and trimming them. Indeed that is what it takes to maintain petunias looking so splendid even into the early autumn. Day after day, year after year she tends to them with the care of a mother koala to her joey. I don't imagine she will ever stop with her petunia--she is liable to continue on in perpetuniaty.
