Chuck Palahniuk. The most amazing author alive. Wrote the amazing books fight club, survivor, lullaby, invisible monsters, diary, and choke. Kicks ass. I want to marry him.
When someone says something really deep yet really sarcastic, something that expresses dry humor you might say..."that was so Palahniuk."

Chuck Palahniuk

A mediocre, gimmicky writer, whose novels are more about having 500 showy quotes for scene kids to put on their MySpaces rather than taking the time to develop an actual novel. All of his characters are essentially the time, the plot lines and the so-called "twists" are ridiculous and are not as "deep" as many scenesters may think they are. Scenesters love to say that they love him because it makes them appear smart and cultured and well-rounded.

Panic at the Disco is the only reason he has gained any fame.
I used to read Chuck Palahniuk before I became disillusioned and reality set in.

Scenester: Have you read the new Chuck Palahniuk book?
Scenester #2: YEAH. It was just so deep; who knew that the clipboard girl was related to the porn star?
Scenester: It made me think about life, again..
Scenester #2: Yeah. You know. Let's go get high.

Term used to describe an author's writing style. A style consisting of apocalyptic scenarios mixed with dry, sarcastic, and dark humor. Often consists of very controversial story telling.

Inspired by author Chuck Palahniuk, author of Fight Club, Choke, Lullaby, and Invisible Monsters to name a few. He is one of the premier authors using this signature style, hence the name.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
