can be used to describe a nasty woman's genitalia, as in mold found in a nasty bathroom or kitchen,

can also be used as a question to let others around know the person is being moody for reasons not caused or involved with the much like how one may ask if you have sand in your vagina. using the phrase this way works on both male and female partys

Guy two: I know right I bet she has mold on her Petunia

mold on bread

a metaphor for human civilization sprouting on a substrate (earth's surface). when viewed from atop a mountain or from a plane the city lights and man made structures seem similar to mold growing on bread. at night all u can see is the flickering of thousands of lights, not individual human beings. Joe rogan explains this in great detail in his youtube video about the psychedelic DMT.

Looking at all the mold on bread from the top of Iron mountain in san diego makes me think that we're nothing but shadows and dust.
