Being promised something beyond one's capability of delivering it only to continue to behave positively even though the customer is obviously distressed. Used in business when marketing a product simply for marketing's sake.
Person 1: Do You still think Orlando City's motto should "Defy Expectations"?
Person 2: Hell no! They O c'd us and now I can't resell these worthless season tickets because nobody wants to go the games.
