Not Working

Nope. I said that I stopped doing that EXPLICITLY. "She's fucking the retard and everyone is passing off their hours on to me and trying to make me do all the work to make their lives easier... I'm just going to stop working.... I want it to be a slow-burn... I'm going to turn down the tap until they fire me..."
Hym "I wasn't not working. I stopped working. They work not working. Instead of working they fucked the retard and when they were done fucking the retard, I would show up early, work for 15 hours, and do their job in addition to my own."

The hood it not working

What Thai restaurants post on their door to signify a temporary closure of the restaurant. If the manager is out, hood translates to 'head' thus giving more definition to the concept itself. Additionally, the 'it' is a philosophical reference to the state the 'hood' is in. To fully comprehend such sign, read it as "The HEAD IS not working"
Manager/owner is out of town on business for a few days and there is nobody to take over the job. Restaurant will post sign reading: The hood it not working"

social not-working

Procrastinating important things in need to be done such as studying, or assignments due the next day, by social networking on websites like facebook.
Dork: "Hey, did you get that assignment done yet? i already finished my research paper"
Typical lazy guy: "No, i'm social not-working right now"

Teacher: "Im concerned about your grades slipping, have you been studying?"
Student: "No, i've been socially not-working instead"
Teacher: (sighs) Facebook is the only book kids will read these days...

It's not working

Getting me to take a hint is not this working. Stop trying to use this to control me. You are doing it only because you want to make a point about rape and in doing so you aren't doing anything other than revealing your own pathology about it. It's pathetic that THE RAPE-PORN GUY has a healthier relationship with rape than you do.
Hym "No. Don't let her fool you into thinking that me doing something I said I wouldn't do somehow constitutes 'this working.' You are going to let a petty childish imbecile drive my life directly into one of your kids and all over the fact that you let an idiot convince you that is some kind of tug of war. So it's not working. I just haven't murdered your kids yet. She just wants to rape me. I said I don't want this to be used to guide me into a life I don't want so she has convinced you to go along with it. She needs a therapist to deal with her rape victim trauma and not 'to have control of a guy who said things she doesn't like about rape.' Fold or lose another kid. Listen to not-me already got them killed. You tried to do it without involving me because you don't like that I involved other people."

murderhobo

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.
DM: The sad little orphan girl tugs at Steve's trenchcoat to get his attention, and ask for help saving her pet dog from...
Steve: I'd like to roll a strength check against strangling the orphan.
Dave: I call dibs on the dog.
DM: You murderhobos disgust me.

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."
