No moment

A 'no' moment is also that all important time in a story where the female main character is in mortal peril and her big strong, handsome, attractive, good looking, beautiful, courageous love interest comes upon her being injured and/or injured.

This results in him screaming, 'NOOOOOOOO!' obnoxiously and being too frozen in place to actually do something about it.

These moments are usually frowned upon by self proclaimed, 'CRITICZ' and are promply torn to pieces.

Example:

Girl 1: Oh noez, I've been stabbed, ugh...

Love Interest 1: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO--

Evil Guy: >:)

Love Interest 1: --OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Fangurl 1: BEST NO MOMENT EVAR!
Critic 1: SHUT UP. >:V

NO Moment

A NO Moment is a term coined by the Thank You For Saying NO podcast. A NO Moment is a life changing moment that turned someone's life upside down (i.e., a moment someone was told NO, said NO, or when a situation didn't work out). The twist is that the NO Moment was actually the start of something really great because of what it led someone to or what it taught them.

I am so grateful for the NO Moment of not getting the job I really wanted because it led me to a different job where I won an Emmy.

'No' moment

A moment that has happened sometime in the past (usually the night before) and is tremendously embarrassing to even think about never mind speak about. When a 'No' moment has been recalled usually the victim will come out with a frustrated

"NOOOOOO!" groan or even a delicate "no..." mumble. 'No' moments are usually caused by alcohol and cringe-worthy social situations.

"Aww man you were totally wasted last night and you tried to pull Jessy! But she refused your sexual advances! Gutted for you!"

"Awww... NOOOOOOOOO!! ARGH"

"Was that a 'no' moment?"

"Aye, it was"

"Cool"
