An abbrieviation for the National Association of Student Councils, started in 1931 by Warren E. Shoals, originally from Indiana, at the time residing in Oklahoma. This association works to better student leaders across the nation and world.

A.S.C.A.N.S.

Acronym for the Anti Scallyway Coalition Against Nasty Scallywags. Est. in 2004 on board US Navy ship Emory S. Land. There was a group of scallywags running rampit amongst the ship. A small group of guy came up with a plan to squash this problem. From then on A.S.C.A.N.S. has kept them at bay.
Justin: Man these scallywags ar getting to be a problem around here.
Cory: I know someone should do something about it.
Justin: I have an idea!
Cory: Yeah, What is it?
Justin: A.S.C.A.N.S.
