Millie (millbag, milliard)

A millie is a Northern Irish FEMALE Chav. The term has been around long before chav existed.

It goes back to the days when the rough and working class fishwives worked in the Linen Mills, hence millie.

The male equivalent is 'spide'. Its roots and origins are unknown, but spides normally hang around corners with massive carryouts and hurl abuse at passersby.
Don't wear that cheap transparent white dress, you look like a millie.
see millies.

name originates from the working class girls who worked in the Mills of northern ireland.

Millberz with Pace

Millberz with Pace-Origin Unknown

A derivation of 'Pulling a Millberz',a 'Millberz with Pace' is the act of running to catch up of a group of supposed 'mates' who have shunned or ditched you.
Adam pulled a Millberz with Pace to catch up with his mates, who had earlier ditched him.

Millberz

To 'pull a Millberz' is the act of standing between two people who are dating, or crucially, potentially dating. The act often involves both arms slung around the lovers necks and saying, "How are you guys then."

The entire concept of the idea is frowned upon by society and has been punished before by severe banter and exclusion resulting in the need for a 'Millberz with pace'.

It is believed the first Millberz was pulled in a remote English city called Worcester. It is alleged that the name comes from the original offender, but has never been confirmed.
Steve: Yeah so I was talking to.....OMG....Carlos is pulling a Millberz on Dave and Jess. He makes me sick.

Ledley: Right you are Steve. Banter calls.

Mike: Yeah I pulled a Millberz on Chris and Joanne yesterday. I beat myself senseless when i got home though. Forgive me guys.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
