Metrosexual B 

Metrosexual B is a less apparent form of metrosexuality. Metrosexual B men are not physically "metro." They tend to be fans of more "metro" activities and interests but it is not present physically. Activities of Metrosexual B men include but are not limited to: musicla theatre, celebrity gossip, appreciating fashion, and ocassionally dressing well.

The counterpart of Metrosexual B is Metrosexual A.

Greg's friend's thought he was a closet metro when they found him listening to the soundtrack from "Moulin Rouge!" but he's really just Metrosexual B.

metrosexual backlash 

phenomenon which occurs when straight women begin to realize that perhaps men who spend more time and money on their hair/skin/clothes than they do, are not exactly what they wanted after all. Mom always said "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!" and damn if she wasn't right!

Phase 1 of the Metrosexual Backlash first results in the "metro" receiving the exact OPPOSITE attention response that he was hoping for. Instead of gaining increased attention from prospective partners, DEcreased attention results due to the inability of said partners to ascertain the orientation of the "metro".

This leads to Phase 2 of the Metrosexual Backlash, an increase in autosexual behavior among, interestingly, both straight women and gay men, both of whom experience frustration at not being able to identify the "metro" as part of their dating pool.

Phase 3 has yet to be clearly identified, but it may include an increase in the frequency of friendships between gay males and straight females as they form alliances dedicated to determining the orientation of "metro" men.

I used to think those pretty metro boys were so hot, but lately I find they're just too much. Damn metro's, bet they weren't counting on the backlash, 'cause I ain't got time to be with a guy who's spending more time getting ready than I am!

A man that cares about his self image and is most likely into more feminine ideas than the average dude. He'll more than likely make a better lady friend than most other men.
1. He's into man sculpting, and shaving everything but maybe his legs.
2. He goes to a salon instead of a barber.
3. He probably drives a coupe, or a sport hatch, never a truck.
4. He takes time to manicure himself and puts on cologne everyday.
5. He has style and may wear button-up shirts on off-work days, and likes Euro brand clothing thats tight fitting. He's also into wearing male jewelry.
6. His music taste may be classy or hip.
7. He's mainly a light drinker and will drink wine over beer.
8. He's more than likely into multiple arts.
9. He probably doesn't care for Sports, unless it's Volleyball or Tennis.
10. He's most likely into recreational activities.

Man that guy won't hang with us to grab a beer and talk sports. I wonder if he's..., nah man he's just Metrosexual.
