Metricophobia 

An irrational fear and/or hatred of the Metric system.

Nothing sets off someone's metricophobia by hearing their absurd comparisons of weight, height, volume, etc. with "Yeah, but what is that in metric?"

The fear of tape measures, metrima being the greek word for measuring

1) Kelsey has metrimaphobia, she can not be near tape measure

2) I heard the superintendent has metrimaphobia, that is why he is always in the office.
