The fear of tape measures, metrima being the greek word for measuring

Metricophobia

An irrational fear and/or hatred of the Metric system.

Nothing sets off someone's metricophobia by hearing their absurd comparisons of weight, height, volume, etc. with "Yeah, but what is that in metric?"
