(adj) Of or relating to the origin of a concept or idea that specifically arose from meme culture.
Although Spongebob was an excellent show, much of the humor surrounding the show today has memeological roots in various image boards and social media such as imgur, 4chan, Facebook, etc.

Much of millennial humor can be spoken of through a memeological lens.
