Mechie

The title given to a mechanical engineering major when they start the program.

A mechanical engineering major that has entered the program can officially be called a "mechie." While doing pre reqs one is called a "pre-business major" because the classes are so tough and many switch to business majors.

Any of a number of drawings/sketches/images depicting either mecha, vehicles, or machines in anthropomorphic (human-like) poses or activities. Related to the furry, Mechies are deplored for illustrating lewd and/or sexual acts, although this is the exception rather than the rule.
