Mayimbe comes from the Taino Indians of the Quisqueya Island(large land)also Taino)) better known as The Dominican Republic one of the states of Hispanola(Haiti is the neighboring State/Country) O.K. back to Mayimbe... Its what the tribe will call their leader. Its the chief.

Its defiantly not from swajili as someone on here stated.

Now its used more liberal found with new meanings as. Big Boss, Big Dog, El Jefe, Also used as a sign of status of someone who is well accomplished in life. A short and stubby Asian. This type of Asian has peculiarly small feet. Average height for a "Maylieng" is approximately 4 feet 10 inches.
