It's an alternative name for Marina. Mostly used for females. Maryna is a very beautiful girl with great hair and gorgeous eyes. If you ever get to meet a girl named Maryna, never let her out of your sight. She deserves your love and affection.

Good stuff, Maynard! 

Originally used in "The Many Lives of Dobie Gillis" a sit-com that ran from 1959 to 1963. The main character, Dobie Gillis, used it when talking with Maynard G. Krebs. Krebs was played by Bob Denver, who later became known as Gilligan of Gilligan's Island. The line was later used in a Malt-O Meal commercial.
