Introduced in 1938, at a time when the rest of the submachine guns in the world was unnecessarily
heavy and expensive, the new Mp-38 "Maschinenpistole" of the company Erfurter Maschinenfabrik (Erma) I revolutionize the idea of which a submachine
gun would have to be. The Mp-38 and its companion the Mp-40 allowed to establish a production in chain, becoming a very effective
