Ledsox is a slang word deriving from the term 'Bed Socks'. Usually referring to a thick pair of woolen socks or gentlemen's bed stockings. The main difference between Bedsocks and Ledsox is that the 'Led' (Lead) refers to the thicker knit of wool.
During the Winter months, Paul wore his Ledsox in bed to keep him cosy.
