Jetleg

When you fly to another country looking for a hookup only to find yourself hooking up with a person from the same country as you. Similar to paratrooping.

Man I was hoping to paratroop with some local tonight but turns out I'm gonna jetleg with this american at her hostel.

Jet Leg

Jet Leg usually occurs near the end of a crowded Southwest Airlines flight. You're packed in like sardines and you haven't moved your legs for 3 hours. When you get up to exit the plane, your legs are asleep and are cramping up something fierce. Jet Leg is not contagious and usually subsides somewhere near the baggage terminal. 'Jet Leg' is the evil step-sister of 'Jet Lag'.

Rawd: "John, how was your trip and why are you limping"?

John: "I have a terrble case of Jet Leg, Rawd"

Rawd: "Don't you mean Jet Lag"?

John: " No, Jet Leg, Rawd. Jet Leg!!

Whitechapel jetlag

A condition commonly suffered after excessive partying, named after London's most hedonistic district. The effect is reminiscent of the effects of long distance air travel, whereby your body no longer has any concept of what time of day or night it really is.

Cassie was struggling on on Sunday. After Friday's drinks got a bit out of hand, she had a serious case of Whitechapel jetlag and still isn't completely sure what day it is.

school jetlag

Problem on the last night of the school holidays, which is to be followed by the first day of school. You are forced to adjust yourself back into your old sleeping pattern, in the knowledge that you will be up before 7am, but cannot get to sleep.

jetlag

When you travel to a different country and the difference between them (in hours) is too big, you might suffer of jetlag. Sometimes it has.. a headache, dizzy feeling or any other health problem.

jon: were you sleeping?
andrew: ooohh.. mate im toooo tired.. my jetlag is killing me.
