Jazzbian

A subculture of white jazz music nerds who have an encylopaedic knowledge of jazz music. Can be identified in public as slightly aloof people who get their rocks off by naming ever more obscure jazz artists in the company of other jazzbians.

Old news. Originated on the internet circa 2005 when it became old news to report the headline "Jazz Band Covers Aphex Twin" in reference to The Bad Plus' version of Richard D. James' "Flim."

Variations include 'Jazzb&,' 'JB7'
