japalermo noun (plural japalermos)
1. (colloquial, chiefly Romania) A member of the Roma subgroup commonly known as the Gabors with hats (Gaborii cu pălărie), originating from Transylvania. The community is recognized for its distinct traditional clothing, particularly the wide-brimmed black hats worn by men.
