"Jamilya" would be an Eastern version of the name Jamie :) In Arabian, the name Jamilya means - beautiful.

Also, in Russian language, we often change people's names when we want to make them sound sweet and lovely. So for example, instead of adding all kinds of "darling, honey and etc...", we just change the name itself a little bit and it carries so much more warmth in its sounding.

The name Jamie would sound like "Jamichka" <3
