intertextual

the relationship between texts, especially literary ones.
The intertexuality between fifty shades of gray and Game of Thrones is nice, because the archaic language of GoT provides a nice contrast between the modern slang in Game of thrones.

Intertextuality

Originally a concept formulated by Julia Kristeva, a member of the Tel Quel group. Intonations of duplicate or concurrent ideas are the basis of meaning within a given concept, especially when there are no rhetorical resonances.
A matchstick horse in 'Bladerunner' symbolically denotes objectivity of life. There is a noticable degree of personal identity shared with only humans and not androids which is expounded through the use of intertextuality.

Internettually Challenged

Someone who lives in an area that gets shitty download speeds, frequent internet dropouts or otherwise crap internet access.
Chris is a little bit country... He wishes he could raid but his network keeps dropping out in the middle of tanking Hogger runs. He has the heart but well... He's just a little bit Internettually Challenged

Intertextuality

That thing where the meaning of a thing relies on another thing, primarily in media.
Any time something references, parodies, or alludes to an existing thing, that is what media analysts call intertextuality.
