Words you can keep

Homonies

Two male friends who are so close, it seems they are both homos and homies. They defend each other like husband and wife and share many similarities with non-platonic heterosexual couples.
I think Kent and Tim are homonies. Kent will always buy Tim dinner, stand up for him in an argument, and play fight with him all day.

homomisanthropy

The hatred of homosexuals. To be used in place of "homophobia" (irrational fear of homosexuals), which is sometimes an inaccurate word to describe how some people feel about gay people.
A lot of college students still display shameless homomisanthropy. They should know better, but they don't.

homomisia

Homomisia is a more etymologically accurate version of “homophobia.” Since most people aren’t scared of gay people, but rather, they hate them, “-mis-“ is a much more accurate Greek suffix.

Homomisia describes the hatred of, or discrimination inflicted upon, gay people.

Related words include: transmisia, queermisia, and lesbomisia
“Did you hear? Jacob is *totally* homomisic.”

Really? That’s fucked up. Homomisia is such a problem at this school.”

Person #1: I think I might be homophobic.
Person #2: So you're afraid of gay people?
Person #1: No, I don't like them.
