In sportcasting, having a bias toward your hometown team or toward the team for which you play/used to play.

The local newspapers practice homerism, predicting that the hometown teams will win and complaining about the refs when the local teams lose.

Being blindly devoted to your favorite sports team wether they are good or not.
Saying clearly untrue things about your favorite team (i.e. Jamarcus Russell was the best qb ever)
Should only be used in a derogatory way of describing an annoying fan (i.e. Lakers "fans")

person 1: I can't believe kobe didnt get that foul call, he got hammered there
Person 2: Dude, no one touched him, you can clearly see in the replay no one was within 3 feet of him
Person 1: Thats b.s. man its just the angle of the camera

A deadbeat hood hobo that brags about his/her money, guns, drug abuse, or large privates. Usually classified as fake niggas, honkershits will fight anyone until they get hurt and automatically assume that excessive profanity solves problems. If you desire to find a honkershit just go to any KFC and shout the words “Free chains, watches, and accessories on supremepatty.com just pull up.”
