Hanumankind is named after these two components. Hanuman (हनुमान/Huh-Noo-Maan), an Indian Mythological God, similar to the Chinese Sun Wukong and the Japanese Son Goku) and the English word "Mankind".
Sooraj Cherukat, also known as Hanumankind, is a Kerala born, Bangalore-based Indian Rapper who became a viral hit in the Global Hip Hop scene with his biggest single titled the "Big Dawgs". The Desi Hip Hop Artist is the first one from the country to have hit the global scene in such a drastic manner. He was raised in Texas, USA for 6 years, did most of his schooling there and was introduced to the HipHop culture over there.
