handcuffs
A device that goes around someone's wrists to restrain them. They are used for kinky sex and by law enforcement. Recently the police announced they were moving to other ways of stopping crime.
A standard cop situation:
An on duty cop sees a man masturbating in front of Wal-Mart. He reaches for his handcuffs. Before he takes them out he determines that handcuffs aren't enough to handle this dangerous situation so he decides to use his gun.
The use of his gun was so effective that police stations started to phase out handcuffs in favor of safety for all.

Verbal Handcuffs
When someone won't stop talking (usually about a subject you have no interest in). The talker has verbally forced you to stand there there and listen, even though you have given many clues that you have checked out. Examples: vacant stares, looking at your watch, checking your phone, answering in short one word phrases.
Girl 1 :So then I realized my cat really likes Meow Mix more than Frisky's but only if I mix it with Fancy Feast.

A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.
Usage:
