gringofied

A phenomenon, occurring in children born to Hispanic parents but born and/or raised in the United States, in which a child is taught Spanish by his or her parents at a young age but begins to speak only English in school and with friends until the Spanish language is largely forgotten.
Gabí spoke Spanish fluently when she was small, but now that she is in high school she's so gringofied she can barely communicate with her own abuela!

Pierre Gringoire

The drama queen of Notre-Dame de Paris, also known as 'the Prince of Paris Streets'.
Knows the origin of the name 'Phoebus' and can easily recall from latin whatever you ask, but has no idea, how to communicate with women and live this life in general.

Just too innocent for this whole cruel world.
Pierre Gringoire:

Oh, with what pleasure I would drown if the water were not so cold!

- V. Hugo, 'Notre-Dame de Paris'.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
