Golliwag 

The rumored 494th Pokémon. Early reports point to a aquatic grape-purple creature with large red lips. It supposedly has a watermelon pattern on its belly and a tail that resembles a chicken drumstick.

Prof. Lynchtree gave me a Golliwag as my very first Pokémon!

The Golliwogg was a black character in children's books in the late 19th century usually depicted as a type of rag doll. It was produced as a children's toy called the "golliwog", and had great popularity in North America, Europe and Australia up to the 1970s. The doll is characterised by black skin, eyes rimmed in white, large red lips, and frizzy hair. In recent years, changing attitudes when it comes to race relations have greatly reduced the popularity and sales of golliwogs as toys. The Golliwogg is seen as a very racist depiction of black people in the same vein as Mammies , black face and Picaninnies. This , along with the fact that "Wog" is a pejorative term for people of african descent have made the Golliwogg a socially unacceptable toy.

Golliwog

A predominantly UK expression which originally was a children's literature character and type of black doll but which eventually became to be used as a jibe against people with dark skin (black people), most commonly Afro-Caribbeans.

Naomi Campbell reportedly assaulted a British Airways employee after he referred to her as a "Golliwog supermodel".

Usually a white man with a black face and white lips and sometimes sings with the word "wah" and a deep voice over-used, a bit like a wigger (white boy) as they are pretending be something there not and just looking plain stupid.
You used to be able collect little golimen tokens on the back of UK jam jars intill it was branded racially offensive and stopped in 2000 area. Marilyn Manson dressed up like a golliwog with mickey mouse ears on top (?) for his golden age album. Golliwogs are along the same rascit lines as "darkie tooth paste", "the laugthing nigger", "gollimen" and "minstrels".

Personally Golliwogs scare the sheer shit out of me.
