When a friend or family member meets you somewhere without telling you your ex will also be there, especially after many years when they have not called or attempted contact in any way. This is usually initiated by the ex (the "Gatsby") but not always.
Coworker: How was your weekend?
Woman: Not good. My best friend invited me to brunch and didn't tell me that she also invited my ex, who is still apparently in love with me.
Coworker: Geez. Sounds like you got Gatsby'd.
