1. To feel an instant feeling of love towards an animal with fur. The same way people feel lovestruck towards another person, someone who is "furrstruck" feels a gravitational pull towards a cat or dog to feel better.

2. Anxiety a dog lover feels when they see a dog walk by.

As soon as I saw him I knew he was a good boy, I felt a furrstruck feeling and had to pet him!
