Formiculate 

To invent, construct, or fabricate a narrative, idea, or explanation in a deliberate, structured, and formal manner — often with the intention of giving it credibility, whether or not it is entirely truthful.
Usage notes:
• Suggests a blend of creativity and strategic presentation.
• Often used when someone is making something up that sounds convincing or official.
• Can be neutral, clever, or deceptive, depending on context.



Example sentences:
1. The witness didn’t lie — he simply formiculated a version of events that painted him in a better light.
2. Writers of historical fiction are experts at formiculating the gaps in recorded history.
3. She’s not dishonest; she’s just good at formiculating answers that keep the peace.
