intentional food poisoning

The process of entering a dodgy eatery and deliberately ingesting food that has clearly been contaminated by being spat on, having flies sit on the meat for extended periods of time and being left in a bain-marie for the better part of a week. It would be less painful eating rotten road kill from the center of the desert, infected with Malaria. The specific reason for doing this to yourself, and causing all this pain to oneself, is to simply get out of work. Bosses the world over hear many excuses from their employees, but intentional food poisoning, is the number one cause of "employee away on Monday again" disease. Employees suffering from this illness should be taken from their place of residence and shipped to a small island inhabited by cannibals and eaten so they understand what it feels like to give someone intentional food poisoning.
Not in again today? Intentional food poisoning again is it?

Food stamp poisoning

The visible physical effects of the poor food choices induced by the often humble socioeconomic backgrounds of food stamp recipients and enhanced by the relatively lower cost and higher availability of high carbohydrate – low nutritional value food items when compared to higher quality foods. These physical effects are typically manifested in the form of high body math index (BMI) and apparent low physical fitness, as indicated by a slow unsteady walk, loud breathing, and poor dental health. These physical effects frequently appear to be accompanied by ill temper, a lack of ambition, and an unexplained desire to wear over-sized worn-out t-shirts.
“Look at those big people shuffling to the car with the groceries. Can’t make it up the steps with those big bags of chips and soda pop. Must be food stamp poisoning.”

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
