Fleegan

A flexible vegan. Somebody who mostly has a plant-based diet (no meat, fish, eggs or dairy) for environmental, health and/or ethical reasons. They may occasionally eat some animal protein in social situations or because they feel it would nourish their body.

I can't exactly claim to be a vegan because I do eat a little organic meat sometimes to boost my iron levels. I guess I'm a fleegan?

Freegan

Freegans will eat any food product as long as it’s free. Some freegans do this because they don’t want to give money to food producers who harm animals, the environment, or workers. Other freegans simply believe that all the best things in life are free, and that free food from a friend is the next best thing to food freely given by the earth.

Someone is Freegan leaning if their preferred dietary option is free food.

Freegan Leaning

A person who is Freegan Leaning identifies as someone who likes free food. A Freegan Leaning person is a true pragmatist and has achieved a level of spiritual attainment. A Freegan Leaning person believes that the best thing is food given freely by the earth, but free food from a friend is the next best thing. Freegan Leaning people also don’t mind working for a meal, because if you don’t work you won’t eat, and if nobody works nobody eats. Freegan Leaning people keep in the fronts of their minds because of long experience, that free food tastes the best :) .

My younger cousin’s excitable, boisterous, Labrador Retriever was a highly accomplished Freegan Leaning dog. The dog took to food of any kind with gusto. Free food dropped during the Fourth of July was clearly his favorite. However he was more than willing to work for a meal and sit, roll over, or bark for a well earned treat. Accomplished Freegan Leaning dogs like Vinny have clearly earned new lives in a paradise realm.

Many people are unaware of their Freegan Leaning tendencies. Most people don’t bother to think about how good free food tastes, if they did, they might achieve the first level of Freegan Leaning awareness.

Freegan

Somebody who abstains from contributing to the economy and salvages society's wasted food and resources rather than purchase more themselves. Often pertains to a VEGAN (somebody who doesn't eat/wear animal products) who only makes exceptions when dealing with otherwise wasted items.

Tom taught me that as a freegan, he would much rather grab bagels out of the dumpster of a bakery instead of purchasing them himself, because he thinks it's a shame how much perfectly good bread places like that waste everyday.

freegan

A Freegan is a person who, in reaction to the statistic that the west wastes 25% of all it's resources, get items from the trash that are perfectly good. It is often smelly, but hundreds of items can be found, perfectly fine, that otherwise would be wasted. Is often linked with environmentalism and activism. Often have regular jobs, but just eat out of trash.

Man, I met this guy and he was a Freegan. He was also an executive at this company. Serious, he was so loaded 'cause he doesn't buy food.
