Fauxtoshoot

A photoshoot with an amateur model, most commonly an adult gay male, not intended for publication anywhere other than personal websites (facebook, connexion, etc). The fauxtoshoot is a way to live out an adolescent fantasy of getting "Glamour Shots" at the mall.

I unfriended him because he clogs up my news feed with the addition of random strangers and uploads from his most recent fauxtoshoot.

A retouched image (read as Adobe's Photoshop). Sometimes sloppily retouched. Sometimes a fauxtoshopped image is used for social or political gain.

See that cloning over and over again? That's some obvious fauxtoshop!

Fauxtoshopped

When one states that a clearly un-photoshopped photo is photoshopped.

Ex: The Pixels Are All Wrong
or
The Shadows Aren't correct
or
The Lighting Is Wrong

"This photo is clearly photoshopped, the pixels are all wrong, and the lighting is clearly bad."

This is known as "Fauxtoshopped"

Fauxtoshop

A term for photos that look like they have been photoshopped but they have not.

The term was coined on 18th August 2017 on Reddit to describe a photo of a skydiver over Venice which looked fake but was not.

Donald: This photo of the alt-right being violent in Charlottesville is definitely a photoshop.

Steve: I'm sorry Donald but that photo is a fauxtoshop...
