The feeling one gets when they find out their candidate has either dropped out of the race, their indiscretions have surfaced, and/or you finally realize your candidate is a frigging idiot.

When used:

PERSON A:
"Yo Jimson, why so low."

PERSON B:
"Man, I've got the electiontime blues."

PERSON A:
"How so?"

PERSON B:
"I just found out my candiate thinks SOPA is the
French pronunciation of soap . What a frigging
idiot."
