Dumpsgiving

On Dumpsgiving, the day after thanksgiving, families spend the day going from restaurant to restaurant eating dumplings of all varieties, sizes, and shapes. In NYC, some families consider it as important, if not more, as thanksgiving itself.

I went light on the thanksgiving turkey so I would be ready for Dumpsgiving. I must have eaten 50 Dumplings!

dumpsgiving is a time of year, from mid-october to mid-december, especially time around thanksgiving, hence the name "dumpsgiving", when college students dump their high school boyfriends/girlfriends.
