cruising ground

Cruising grounds are public places where people meet for anonymous sex. They are commonly used by closeted married men seeking casual sex who do not want to risk being caught by their wife using phone applications like Grindr. They are also used by both men and women that have public sex fetishes are who cannot host a sexual partner.

Some cruising grounds, such as public bathrooms, adult video arcades, and bathhouses have a glory hole. Other cruising grounds are more exposed, such as areas in the woods, in the dunes of nude beaches, and in dark street alleyways.

Public cruising typically start as a places conducive for sex, such as a basement bathroom in a public area that doesn't get a lot of traffic, offers privacy, and makes it easy to hear others approach.
