On the exterior a claybay appears aloof, handsome from afar. This is when he is a "clay". A claybay however takes shape in the intimacy of the afternoon, beneath crumpled sheets and on the stove of a frying egg. He is gentle, kind, annoying, and smart. He is claybay.
