chalphas 

The Marine uniform worn as alpha's but makes you want to say WTF, because it is worn improperly. Improperly wearing of the uniform can be wearing an "alpha blouse" and a "charlie shirt" with a tie.

A Marine who just checked-in to Sergeants Course looked like he was wearing chalphas. An overweight Marine wearing tight "chalphas" may look like they have on a sausage casing.

When something is slightly less-than-perfect. Something generally unpleasant or unwell.

"I don't know about that kid. He seems a little chalpy."
