Yea, it's a mispronunciation of a popular dish called Bean Curd which is usually served in Asian Restaurants.
"what is that, that guy is having" The (obviously new) waitress goes & disturbs the guy to ask... She comes back, kinda stuttering, not 100% sure about what she was just told. "That's BEAN TURD with mushroom sauce"... YES THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED...
