Basug

-Basug is an adjective and is also another synonym of clever, in Kadazan Dusun, which is one of Malaysia's indigenous language from Sabah, Malaysia.

-Basug is also a polite, and respectful way of complementing others for their cleverness. Elders often use this word to compliment children for their good attitude and deeds.

Examples;

1) "Oh, Miss Karen, that is very basug of you!"

2) "Both you and your brother are indeed, basug!"

3) "What did I do to deserve a basug child like you?!*
