The most famous peaks are K-2, Rakaposhi Range, Bilchaar, Diran, Dubani, Gashabrum Range and Nangaparbat. Insofar as a snow-capped peak is an appendage of a giant glacier. The famous Glaciers of Gilgit-Baltistan are Baltoro, Biafo and Batura glacial regions.
