Breven
One of the worlds most uncommon names. Many believe whoever holds this name has God-like powers so powerful they could destroy the world with a mere thought. Nobody knows where the name originated from but historians believe it comes from the greek god Zeus, who's middle name is in fact, Breven. a Seventh Day Adventist who "breaks the rules" of his/her religion by going out or doing things on Friday nights and Saturday before sunset, eating pork and other restricted foods, or just doesn't regularly practice other aspects of the religion.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
